The Good Neighbor Concert Series
About the Series
The mission of The Good Neighbor Concert Series (GNCS) is to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and accessible listening-room experience, featuring diverse, underrepresented, and emerging musical artists from across Michigan and beyond, where performers, community members, local businesses, and nonprofits can make a positive impact for the Greater Lansing area, and inspire others to do likewise.
Concerts occur on select Tuesday evenings, once per month. All shows take place at Stage One at Sycamore Creek Eastwood, a performance venue made available to the Greater-Lansing community by Sycamore Creek Church (SCC), an inclusive, affirming church where diversity is celebrated and all people are welcome.

Press and Good News
In Season 1, we were featured on a segment of the coincidentally-named “Good Neighbors with Bob Hoffman” series on FOX 47 News! https://www.fox47news.com/neighborhoods/good-neighbors/tunes-and-togetherness-a-local-womans-impact-through-music-and-giving.
We were also recognized for our efforts at the 2025 Stage One Annual Red Carpet Awards Gala, taking home the Creativity Award! Check out the replay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqaaxu3_jI8.
Toward the beginning of Season 2, we were awarded a small Artists in the Community Grant from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, which enabled us to be able to offer a couple of events in Season 2 (our November 2025 and February 2026 events) free to the public, including additional arts programming prior to the concerts. This supported our goal of keeping the series accessible to neighbors of all income levels.
Most recently, in February 2026, we were awarded a grant from the Stage One Amplifier Program from our host venue, Stage One at Sycamore Creek Eastwood, which will provide additional coaching and marketing support to increase the reach of the series.
